Leuciris beneciliata, Proust 1910.tif

Rarely photographed, this white moth with wings fringed in rust and irridencent gold, bead-like bars sits on a beige tile floor with its wings spread and rust colored antena apparent and shadowed. Markings on white wings are dotted with rust enhancing the scalloped edge of the moth. It took hours of searching to identify. It has no common name.
